This past weekend, the heart of Budapest roared with the sound of high-performance engines, and the NFS Team was right in the center of the action at the spectacular Red Bull Showrun. Surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic fans and an incredible display of horsepower, we had the immense privilege of showcasing our student-built race car to the world.
For two thrilling days, our car stood as a testament to student engineering amidst motorsport giants. The event was a vibrant gathering of people from all walks of life. We were thrilled to welcome everyone to our display—students eager to learn, families enjoying a day out, curious children with eyes wide with wonder, and professionals from various industries. It was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors, answer countless questions, and share our passion for Formula Student with a captivated audience.
The atmosphere was simply electric. Being surrounded by so much raw power was a humbling and inspiring experience for our entire team. The Showrun wasn’t just about showcasing our work; it was a chance to connect. We had great conversations with other Hungarian Formula Student teams, sharing insights and strengthening the community that makes this competition so special.
However, the highlight of our weekend was a moment that will go down in our team’s history. We brought a team T-shirt with the hope of collecting a few memorable signatures. We were absolutely thrilled to get it signed by several motorsport personalities, including the legendary Formula 1 driver, David Coulthard. For us, his signature is not just ink on fabric; it’s a piece of inspiration that will fuel our motivation for the entire season ahead.
